Post Announcements

Post announcements were yesterday and I am heading to Malanville on the border with Niger. Here is the wikipedia entry for the city: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Malanville. The post is the second furthest north but it is actually a pretty good sized place and I will be getting a visa for Niger so I will probably be crossing the border quite a bit. I am significantly closer to the capital of Niger than to the caital of Benin and I am really excited about it. We go on Post visit in a few weeks so I am excited to see my new house. Other than that training is going well, my French is certainly improving and I am learning lots about Benin. Come visit me and I will take you to the national park that is near Malanville to see elephants.
